Creating My Track Sunrise For The Latest Flying Musician YouTube Video

I knew this flight was going to be in the morning and would be a picture-perfect day, so I wanted to create a track that slowly evolved as if the Sun was rising over the horizon. I have to say that I am becoming a huge fan of Native Instruments. On this track, I used the NI - Yanquin for the Melody. The Yanquin is a virtual instrument based on a Chinese hammered dulcimer. I liked the character that it added to the melody lines. I used the NI Arkhis - Festive Sparkles patch for added pad drone. I then used the NI Analog Dreams - Royal Cup patch for a subtle sweep effect to the second half of the track, and finally another Analog Dreams, the Fade Black patch for added bass depth in the second half of the track. The track itself is fairly simple consisting of a repeating chord pattern. The real drive of this track comes from increasing layers of sounds as the track progresses forward. You can listen to and purchase the track below. Also, you can watch the YouTube video of the flight and see how I incorporated the track into the video. This has certainly made me want to pursue obtaining a Mashcine+ to give a little more freedom to create away from the computer. It is amazing to me the options we now have to make music in new and creative ways never before imagined. I can get lost in hours of making sounds once unimaginable.
