NAMM Show 2023 Preview

The NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants) is normally an annual trade show for the music products industry that typically takes place in January at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. However, this year it is scheduled to take place next week April 13-15, 2023. Next year, in 2024, it is scheduled to go back to the normal January dates.

I will be attending this year’s show and sharing it with you here and on my YouTube channel every day. The NAMM Show features a wide range of music products, including musical instruments (such as guitars, drums, pianos, and synthesizers), audio equipment (such as microphones, speakers, and mixers), and software (such as recording and music production tools). The show also includes educational sessions, workshops, and networking events for industry professionals.

There have all ready been some major new product announcements, such as from Henri Selmer Paris on their new Supreme tenor saxophone. I will be sure to visit as many product exhibitor booths as I can, as I love music gear.

As I no longer own a music retail store, this year I will be looking forward to enjoying some live music, being a big kid in a candy store, and who knows what famous musicians and celebrities I might run into.
