Last night one of my students and I went to a saxophone clinic at woodwind and brasswind. Frank Catalano was the saxophonist. He is based out of Chicago and had some great insights to playing the sax. He has played with many legendary musicians and done several TV commercials. If you hear a saxophone in some of the Dodge commercials that is him. Anyways it was a small crowd and we were able to ask many questions. I really enjoyed this and will deffinatly take advantage of any more free clinics that woodwind might put on.

On Sunday we went to my Mom and Dad's lake cottage. Everyone in the family was there. Between four neighbors there were about 30 people and 25 racks of ribs!!! Yummy!!!
Above is McKenzie and Jacob driving grandpa pontoon. Directional control seems to be very random, but they all had fun!
That night we got a campfire going and roasted some marshmallows.
My parents cottage is on the right and the Olson's cottage is on the left.

Overall Jami's recovery is going well. She is eating a very low fat diet, but hey it is real food. We should have a date real soon as to when she will go down to Indy for a consult with the specialist.
Congrats to my sister Lisa and her husband Jesse on the birth of their son. Myles was born on Saturday. He was 5lbs 7oz. Both mom and baby are doing well. Also congrats to Craig and Stacy. Their baby was born yesterday.
I was rocking Jacob Friday night when he tells me, "daddy I want to see fireworks at your castle, they make colors." It is amazing what he remembers from our trip earlier in the year. I would have never guessed he would remember that. I also think it is cute that he calls it my castle!!!
